Polo events
The Ayala Polo Club in Sotogrande is hosting several exciting tournaments this year. Right now, we find ourselves in the break between two prestigious tournaments. On the 28th of June, the final of the Open de España took place, where some of the most elite teams competed for the title. The Copa Memorial Manuel Prado y Colón de Caravajal begins on the 2nd of July. This is also a prestigious tournament of a lower handicap (6 to 8 goals).
Throughout the rest of the summer there will be several other tournaments. July and August are undoubtedly the highlights of the polo season. The International Polo Tournament in Sotogrande will take place,hosted across several venues, including the Santa Maria Polo Club.
