Located in the heart of Andalusia, in the center of the triangle between Ronda, Seville and the Cadiz beaches which each take about 1 hour drive by car. This unique country property offers you the tranquility of the country side, the charm of local Andalusian villages with Seville’s culture and the Costa de la Luz’s beach life and the Ronda and Grazalema mountains at easy reach.

Acces to the property is by a short dirt track leading to the entrance gate of the property. From here the path continues through the olive grove and the fields to the farmhouse. Ample parking on arrival. Large farm doors open up to beautiful traditional pebbled courtyard. Adorned with abundant bougainvillea and orange trees. From this courtyard you have access to 2 independent and fully modernized casitas.

The first casita/apartment has a fully fitted kitchen, dining, living room, 2 bedrooms of which one is in use as an office, a dressing room, 1 bathroom and a guest toilet. The living room has a wood burner and fire place and ceiling fans cool the rooms in summer time. This apartment interconnects with 3 more bedrooms that all have a bathroom en-suite. These bedroom can also be accessed from the parking, so could also be used separate.

The second casita has a large open living, dining, kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom. Entrance either from the courtyard or from the back of the property. In one of the hay lofts there is an extra bedroom in case there are more guests.

From the main courtyard an arch gives way to a second courtyard where you will find the third casita. with one bathroom and a large sitting/sleeping room. A design master piece. The floor to ceiling windows give the apartment a modern touch, yet under the floor, covered with glass you can see the large clay vessel in which the olive oil was stored in the old days. Stairs lead up to a similar space, bedroom nmb 9, or a multipurpose room for indoor yoga, or meetings. There is a pre-instalation for a bathroom here.

The main courtyard also has a gate opening to the communal services of this remarkable refurbished farmhouse. One of the barns is now converted into a large dining and lounge. Connected on the back with a fully fitted kitchen. There are many terraces for outdoor dining. Either on another small courtyard behind this kitchen, or in the orange garden or on the covered terrace near the pool . The pool bar and large pool with ample lounge and sunbathing areas completes the facilities. These communal spaces are ideal when you are spending time here with a large family, or run retreats , yoga holidays or a luxury boutique B&B.

This amazing cortijo used to be a horse breeding farm. On the last courtyard you will find the horse stable with 12 boxes (app 3×3) and several store rooms of which one used to be the tack room. There is a sand school on the back of the stable. At present this area is used more practical. It has a large walk in fridge freezer, a laundry room, tool rooms and storage. If you would like to keep horses, there is grazing land and sufficient space for hay storage as well as a shelter or walk in stable.

Wandering over the plot you will find the ecological vegetable and fruit garden that is a must have for every cortijo! A chicken pen and of course the ca 4 hectare olive grove with approximately 200 centenario olive trees that provide your own extra virgin olive oil.

Many original details have been preserved. The pebbled courtyard, the old ‘tinaja’ room where the olive oil was stored, and even some pictures of the patroness, the virgen Mary have been preserved. In the refurbishment all the electrics and plumbing have been renewed, as well as the floors, the kitchens and bathrooms. Windows are now aluminium, double glazed with mosquito nets. Heating is either by fire places, woodburners or electric heaters. Cooling by ceiling fans. Hot water is through solar with electric back up. The property is connected to mains electricity and has its own well water. The water is pumped up to 3 different underground water deposits of in total app. 150.000 liter. The domestic water is filtered (osmose) and decalcified. A pressure pump ensures the water pressure in the house and for the irrigation. The garden, vegetable and fruit garden are on automatic irrigation. The olive grove is on dry land. (not irrigated).
