Villas & Fincas is hiring! We are looking for an all-round Social Media & Marketing Assistant who is enthusiastic and passionate about the Andalusian countryside and Andalusian-Spanish lifestyle. You will join our photoshoots to capture the essence and beauty of the country property we have in our portfolio. Job Description

  • Creating video and photo content for our social media channels
  • Copywriting 
  • Publishing on our social media channels
  • Help our main photographer and videographer with the content for the website (depending on the size of the property)
  • All production possibilities may include: social media photography, presentation videos, walkthrough property tours, or reels, amongst others. Your work will complement the team by strengthening the Villas & Fincas brand with visuals and text.
  • Creating property campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook & Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, YouTube Ads)
  • Campaign data analyses. After the data analysis you will make a brief report and inform your colleagues about what worked and didn’t work in the campaign. 

The amount of hours may fluctuate per week depending on how many photoshoots we have. We estimate 8-16 hours per week. For a true all-rounder these hours may increase depending on the workload and over the course of time.

The ideal candidate

At Villas & Fincas, the beauty of life in the Andalusian countryside stands prime to our branding. It’s therefore, of great importance that you share a passion for Andalusia: its culture, its countryside and its lifestyle. Experience and affinity with architecture, interior design and property are a plus. Creating and editing video and photo content is second nature to you. 

You’re a team player, work efficiently, and are a loyal and reliable colleague. Your eye for detail is exceptional, and you truly have an inspiring creative vision. 

Our office hours are the definition of ad-hoc work, since a lot of our work depends on clients and the weather. This entails that you are easy-going when it comes to last minute changes, and can adjust to (sometimes) stressful situations. We continuously support each other wherever needed. Loyalty and flexibility are key to the way we work. 


  • Whether for personal or business purposes, you have experience with the following social media platforms: YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn. 
  • Beating the platform algorithms is in your DNA!
  • You’re a pro with professional equipment: a stabilizer/handheld, a drone and a camera. 
  • You are an expert (or have experience) using Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro, Lightroom and Photoshop. 
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console & social media Ads is a must. 

*Note: We expect freelancers to have their own equipment and have their own licenses for editing programs.

  • We have an office dog, Bella. She is small, friendly and loves to be petted and go for walks. 
  • We start our week with a cup of coffee, or two, and share our achievements of the previous week. We follow the meeting with the To Do’s for that week and ask whether anyone needs extra assistance with anything. 
  • We like to organize team days, team lunches or team drinks for special occasions. Working for Villas & Fincas means working with family, rather than colleagues.
