Jimena de la Frontera is a lovely white village in the province of Cadiz, very conveniently located at a 20 minute drive from the Coast, the beaches and up market urbanisation Sotogrande with an international school and fabulous golf courses. Jimena’s history goes way back to the Phoenicians and the Romans. And of course, the Moors have left their mark as well! Around this beautiful village we have several country properties for sale.

The village Jimena borders with the  national park ‘Los acornocales’ (the cork oaks) which offers a stunning natural setting. Once every 9 years the cork is harvested, stripping the trunks of the trees and leaving them in a dark red colour. On the other side Jimena is known for its grazing fields and cotton production. The train station connects Jimena with the cities of Algeciras and Ronda but basically makes it possible to travel easily to for example Madrid, Granada or Cordoba.
