Access to the house is through a short well-maintained track, leading to a gated, video-controlled, private driveway. Ample parking at the property. The East-facing main entrance of the house opens to an impressive hall, instantly boasting impressive views through the double-height windows of the main sitting room. The spectacular design guarantees a light and airy room, uniting spaces by the round stairway down. Inside and outside melts together here. Sliding doors open to a large terrace. Next to the main living room in the centre of the house is a second lounge. Currently in use as a library and office. Following the symmetry of the house, the kitchen is found on the other side of the living. The hand-made Viggang kitchen is fully fitted and well designed. The kitchen has a breakfast corner and is also connected with a preparation kitchen and utility room on the back. Ideal set up for hosting parties with a private chef. The kitchen opens to a large covered terrace with a water feature for outside dining. This terrace can be reached through the preparation kitchen as well.
The master bedroom with a fireplace is connected to a walk-in closet and a large bathroom is on the entrance level. The bathroom is beautifully finished with a bathtub and separate shower. Tiles are hand painted by an artist. The master suite opens to a private terrace which also gives access to the pool. Very convenient! On the entrance level, on the other side of the hall, following again the symmetry, are two guest bedrooms with bathrooms en-suite. One of these bathrooms also has hand painted tiles reflecting the Tajo where you look out on.
Furthermore on the living level is a fourth bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. This one can be accessed directly from the outside and has a private terrace. Behind here there is also a fully fitted hammam, with a massage room, jacuzzi, shower and steam room. A luxury you can spoil yourself with during your stay in Ronda.
The outdoor areas are just as nice as the indoors. The 17×4m walkable pool invites you to lounge at its side during summer days or to do laps in the morning. The pool house has a toilet, storage and pre-installation for pool heating plus a storage area. Steps down from the pool, passing a waterfall, leading to the terraces. On the one hand, the terrace for outside dining and on the other a lovely shaded lounge area to spend lazy afternoons reading and summer evenings enjoying the peace and quiet.
Underneath the house are six different levels or terraces created in the garden with pathways around them. The garden is kept rustic with autochthonous plants that don’t need a lot of water. It would be ideal for grapes as well.
From the pool, another pathway leads to the yurt or second office. Fully prepared with AC unit to use during summer and winter. An extra room to work or relax when you want to be away from the day-to-day running of the house.
Behind the house is a large plat area which used to be a tennis court, now it is re-created into a gravelled mandala meditation garden.
All materials and installations are top quality. The house has insulated cavity walls (20-15-20cm) iron insulated shutters, and iroko hardwood double-glazed windows and doors. The floors are of natural stone There is underfloor heating throughout by a gas boiler, that also feeds the hot water supply. Back with electricity. Heating and cooling system through heat pumps (4 AC units) and each (bed)room has its own control. There are 3 × 1000L tanks underneath the house for domestic use. A pressure pump regulates the water pressure in the house. Rainwater from the roof and the drainage on the Finca is collected, filtered and pumped into 3 water deposits (30, 150 and 200m3) for irrigation. The property is sold partly furnished, the Spa, guest rooms and outdoors will stay as it is, except for art, antiques and personal items.
