The Cortijo is located at a short drive from a small village through a well-maintained dirt track. From the built size 553 m2 is dedicated to the house, 140 m2 to the large barn. The Cortijo has 8 bedrooms for family and guests and on top has a fully equipped 2 bedroom staff house.

The Cortijo is impressive. New built and finished in 2011. Beautifully decorated and finished with an eye for detail. Rustic clay tile floors with marble details, wooden doors, rustic tiles in the bathrooms to name some of them. The Cortijo is built around a beautiful pebbled courtyard with fountain, orange trees and an abundance of flowers and bougainvillaea. The large wooden door opens up to an entrance hall which leads to a large living room with fireplace on one side and a very spacious dining room on the other. Both have picture windows to enjoy the spectacular view over the mountains and the estate. A lovely covered terrace is to be found in front, where you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this massive estate. Wandering over the lawned garden you can overlook one of the 5 lakes this finca has. The dining room connects directly to the fully equipped kitchen. The main bedrooms are located in one of the Cortijo wings and can be accessed directly from the patio or from a hallway leading off the dining room. There are 4 double bedrooms with bathrooms en-suite and a fifth bedroom with bunk beds in its own bathroom. Leading off the living is a staircase going up the tower. In this tower room is another bedroom with a bathroom. From here a spiral staircase leading to a spectacular roof terrace from where you overlook the estate. From the patio, you can access the 7th bedroom with bathroom, which is also in use as a playroom or television room. Next to it, also directly accessed from the courtyard is a staff bedroom with bathroom, suitable for a chauffeur, chef or nanny that joins the guests.

Accessed from the back of the Cortijo is the guard’s house. This is fully equipped with 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, a living/dining and a kitchen. At this end of the Cortijo is also the machine room and the access to the large barn.

The house has its own electricity through 14 solar panels connected to batteries that can store up to 200KWH. A large backup generator of 20KV tops up the batteries in the rare cases necessary. The finca also has its own water supply. The house is served by water from a borehole and the irrigation is done by water from the lakes. Stored in two different deposits that automatically fill up. The house is finished to a good quality, has aluminium windows with double glazing, central heating fired by diesel.

The estate is at a 10 minute from a local village, at approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from Seville and the airport, and even the airport of Faro is at just a 2-hour drive.
