A stunning Cortijo with equestrian facilities and a livestock farm at half an hours drive from the city of Seville, Andalusia, Spain. This hacienda is located on a truly unique spot and has a very well maintained main house, updated to today’s standards. The residential area counts with 610 m2, the stables and equestrian facilities are approximately 750 m2 build size and next to this there is a large covered riding hall of 1450 m2. The 150 hectares finca is mainly used as grazing land for the livestock (bulls and cows) and a small part is in use as an ecological olive grove which provides a small production of olive oil.
The estate is entered through an impressive gate, giving direct access to a large parking area. Through the beautiful patio, you will access the main residence. Currently, it is in use as follows: a 337 m2 owners residence with large living and dining room with open fireplace, a billiard/office and a tower room in one wing and the other wing provides 3 spacious bedroom and 3 bathrooms. All very well maintained and updated to today’s standards. This residence is interconnected with a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom staff house (67 m2), where also the kitchen is located. A separate corridor gives access to a large second salon (166 m2) with impressive fireplace. From the patio, there is an entrance to a separate spacious studio with bathroom (40 m2). Both living rooms are beautifully finished in Andalusian style with high beamed ceilings.
Behind and alongside the main residence you will find the stables. This area can be accessed directly from the main house and has also separate entrances from the sides. A courtyard gives access to 12 large boxes, tack rooms and storage areas. Apart from these, there are two paddocks with covered half open stables. Furthermore, the land counts with many more paddocks, an open sand school and a 1450m2 covered sand school. There are a horse walker, several shower areas and a horse clinic.
Next, to the equestrian facilities, there is a large bullring available where many famous bullfighters have been invited to ‘torear’. It has its own dressing room and VIP room to watch the spectacle and to enjoy a drink and a tapa afterwards.
From here you access the large finca which is currently in use as grazing land for the bulls and the cows. The farm is fully operational for horse breeding and live stock and generates a yearly income that more than covers the running costs of the estate. The are 5 water wells that provide sufficient water for the main house and the farm activities. In the old days, it would provide water for almost 1000 heads of cattle. There is also an open water deposit for the collection of rainwater, which holds water all year round and the property has a one million litre water deposit.
The estate with all its facilities is truly unique. It is a spectacular site with many possibilities to exploit, either as a horse breeding farm, a bull farm. It would be perfectly suitable as a permanent residence although we can imagine clients using it as a weekend hideaway to dedicate to their equestrian hobbies and to invite friends.
