At just 12 kilometres from the coast, 30 minutes from Gibraltar and 20 minutes from Marbella, you’ll find the picturesque village of Casares. Don’t expect a large supermarket but the little shops sell the most delicious fruit and vegetables, homemade chorizo and sausages and not to forget the famous Casares goats cheese. It is a lovely village to wander around and the villagers welcome you in. The village offers all the necessary facilities, yet if you prefer a doctor or a dentist who speaks your language it’s only a short drive to the coast.
