Christmas Festival in Casares

A magical festival and market, set within the splendor of the famous white village of Casares, Andalucia, offered fantastic family entertainment for the whole village. The time seemed to have stood still. Casares was completely transformed in a Christmas atmosphere of the old Bethlehem. Children figured in the Christmas market as bread bakers, laundresses, blacksmiths, weavers, cobblers and Roman soldiers and there was a live Christmas stall. The streets were covered with hay and on every corner from the picturesque streets were fires lit. Unforgettable moments for young and old. Villas and Fincas took some pictures.
